Title: Window mouldings on wrong side of the wall
Post by: lwillis on November 24, 2007, 05:38:57 PM
When I insert a 4'x4' casement window into a bedroom, the moldings are showing up on the inside of the wall, not the outside.
Even if I select and right-click the window, and select "Flip Opening", the moldings don't change.  (See attached pictures)

How do I get the moldings to be on the proper side?

Thanks
Lee

You have to go to the properties of the wall and select exterior.

Hi Jeff,

I don't understand.   I select the wall, right click, select properties, and then what do I do next?  Which tab am I selecting on the "Walls" dialog?

The only "Exterior" I see on the property pages is  on the "Appearance" page, and that's already correct (it renders with stucco on the outside, drywall on the inside).

Thanks

Select: wall|Properties|Trim|Application-exterior side. Then select the opening trim you want.

Thanks Jeff.  That worked.  :-)
