Title: Kitchen Cabinets (upper) without Doors
Post by: kbarm on August 03, 2012, 11:05:38 AM
I know that one of Alan's posts said that cabinets can be created without doors, but I have been unable to figure out how to do that. I need an open upper.  I have tried to alter the stock cabinets in the catalog, but they don't seem to have the option to not show the doors.  Once in awhile I found one where a " show doors" checkbox came up, but it was always a base or pantry cabinet (not an upper) and even that doesn't seem to be reproducible/consistent.  When I did find one where I could remove the door,  I couldn't eliminate the toe kick (it wouldn't let me set it to 0 height.) I'm running Home & Landscape Deluxe 15.1.  Any guidance would be much appreciated!

I am not familiar with Deluxe but I imagine it is the same:  All you have to do, on the Basic tab, is change the Type to Type 3 - it has no doors, they are just open shelves.

The Deluxe version is the same as you described Allan.
