Title: How to change the default 2D black color representing imported .skp elements
Post by: WimYogya on August 06, 2012, 01:18:46 PM
Imported .skp element are shown in a very dominant black in 2D, while the rest of FTP is (by default) in soft tones.
Is there a way to reduce the .skp dominance and make them a lighter grey or whatever?

If you go to the Appearance tab you will see that for each part of the model you can set a texture but you can also set a Line style and colour and even a hatch pattern. Just select all of the model parts, choose a line style, choose a colour or you can design your own (right click Add).

Do this by editing the object in the catalogue. If you do it in the plan it will not change the  Catalogue object.
