TFP has proven to be a superb product for developing the layout and interior/exterior materials. I though I had reached the programs limit when I wanted to incorperate timber framing into a design, until I found this posting: http://forums.turbofloorplan.com/index.php/topic,2365.msg11281.html#msg11281
Has anyone looked at using this concept for developing electrical conduit, plumbing and HVAC layout. If you could find elements for those items and add them to the members group I would think it could work.
Members (via the Layout toolbar Lines) could be used for conduit, pipes etc. and you do not need to find them, they are already there or you can add them. Just right click and choose the profile you require rectangular, round, triangular etc etc etc. You can even design your own add shapes if you want using the Custom shape but that can be a bit taxing unless you are used to working with angles. ;)
Members are very flexible and can be stretched, rotated and angled. The can be 'curved' too by using very short straights using the Line tool.
