I have a 3 dimensional plan of one half of a 4 storey semi-detached house excluding the roof and I want to complete the building by adding the identical other half before adding the communal roof. Is there a simple way of doing this by mirror imaging or will I have to draw in every item again?

Hi Ken,
You should be able to select everything then right click and select Mirror. Make a copy oft he file before you start and practice on the copy.
To select multiple locations you will need to go to Settings / Program Settings / Drawing Aids AND untick the box "Select elements on current location only in plan view" and then you can do a Control A (Edit / Select All) so everything is selected to be mirrored. If you have any landscape elements you may have to turn them off first and also Collision.
Dont forget to tick the box "Select elements on current location only in plan view" again afterwards or you will selecting/deleting/moving things that you did not intend to!

Hi Allan
I am afraid neither of your suggestions seem to work. If I Select All and right click then I am given the choice of Deselect All, Delete or Move, but no mention of Mirror. If I go to Settings / Program Settings / Drawing Aids I get the attached screen which doesn't mention "Select elements on current location only in plan view" anywhere. What next?

Sorry Ken, it should have been Building Aids not Drawing Aids. (seems more like a drawing aid to me than a building aid but,,,it is in Building Aids!)
Also essential that you do not have terrain elements turned on (otherwise you will not get the mirror option).
