Title: Latest TFP and VMWare?
Post by: tsoutherwood on September 14, 2012, 06:53:54 AM
Hi, The last messages regarding vmware are dated 2007,2008.

So - can anyone vouch if TFP runs OK on VMWare Player under a linux host?

I'll probably use Windows 7 Pro 64bit as the guest unless there's a reason to use another version...

Cheers,

Tim

Hi Tim,

I use TFP with Win 7 - 64 bits, without problems
Now regarding VMWare, this is a very specific issue and, as I am assuming that this is a presale question, I'd suggest that you contact directly with IMSI --> they have a live chat for presale issues

Hi Pat,

Thanks for that - sounds hopeful.

It is indeed a pre-sales query - I used TFP years ago but am considering buying the latest version. These days I only have Linux machines available.

Cheers!

Hi Tim,

You're welcome!  :)

Thanks for the tip Pat - is that "real soon now" - the new release?

Hi Tim,

I can't say for sure.
This post (dated in June) will give you an idea
