useing the wizard results in a 3 line drawing. The outer 2 are the actual wall and can be edited, moved etc. The inside (3rd) line cannot be selected. There is the same distance between all 3 lines. How do I get rid of this 3rd line?
When I use the wizard and OK for every default, I get walls with 2 lines plus a roof line (dotted)
Are you using TFP12 or Envisioneer 4 or 4.5? Envisioneer has different wall construct than TFP12
Did you try doing same wizard with hardware acceleration "off"?
Best if you post a screen shot of the problem and also post your .bld file for others to look at.

Thanks for the reply. I am using tfp12. I figured out what is happening but can't figure out how to stop it.
I have the roof winked off so that is not the issue. If I build with 1 story only I get the 2 lines, both can be moved. When I build 2 story I get the extra (3rd) interior line. For now I just build both floors separate as 1 story. I have no need, as yet, to view the whole house at once. It is a pain drawing both floors but at least I don't end up with double exterior wall. I will need to figure a work around for when I need to view the entire 2 story with basement all at once.
It sounds like with two floors (this is normal operation for TFP) you have one floor set of walls mis-aligned with the other floor.
What you are seeing is one floor at a time.....but the other floor(s) (by default) are also seen but are "dimmed" (90% by default) and items on the active floor are selectable but items on the other floors are not (makes working the plan easier)
So if you want the walls aligned, drag one set to align exactly with the other (such as a first floor directly over the basement foundation walls) and walls will all then look like normal 2 line walls....or solid filled if you choose that option.
You can change amount of "dim" to make other floors easier to see or not seen at all.
Let us know if this is the problem or is it still something else?
