Title: Pro Architect
Post by: coyote124 on September 26, 2012, 09:55:35 PM
I recieved a e mail offering the Pro Architect from Cadsoft for free if I pay the $195.00 for one year customer care
does this mean the program will cease to function after a year or is it good forever

Also what are the benefits of Pro Architect over Turbo floor plan

Thanks

ProArchitect is the same as TFP in the 3D functionality but it has the ability to lay out your plans elevations etc on Worksheets for professional printing. This is ideal if you want to produce such plans as a builder and quicker than having to export them to TurboCAD or AutoCAD to finish them off.

It is a 12 month license so will expire unless renewed. The support component is good but the phone support is only in the USA I think. The price also includes upgrades as they com along.  It can be purchased also, but is considerably more expensive than TFP (about 8 times the price) so it all depends on whether you have the ongoing need to produce professional plans I guess.
