Title: Rendering - is this normal
Post by: AdrianW on December 09, 2012, 11:31:53 PM
Greetings.

I am on another project and am rendering during the drawing. During the rendering I am getting the following situation, as per the attached.. Is this normal??. The end result is ok..

Thanks for your comments in advance

Hi Adrian,

I do not understand the problem - the image you show is of the rendering settings screen that you would normally see when starting to render.

It is not normal to edit and render at the same time as this would test out yor computer resources somewhat. The recomendation is not to even have any other programs running when using TFP especially while rendering.

EDIT -  Just noticed there is a second file but no thumbnail and the image will not open.

I agree with Allan.

Steps are normal during an adv render....the number you can set determines how frequently the view you see is being updated....no need for seeing every update each 20 steps, more like every 100 for 500, or every 300 for 1500.

What "situation" is of concern?  Did you see the TFP help file for rendering?
