Title: Animation
Post by: garystan on February 25, 2013, 01:04:14 PM

      Hi all :

I'd like to  post the recorded animation that I made.   But, I'm not sure of what file size  or format to use in posting.   The "video"  is  1m5s in length.    I did a compression on it, in order to send it to my sister.   Using Windows Movie Maker, I was able to compress it from 1.89 Gb to 5.31 Mb,  in the .wmv format.

Hi there,

Did you consider to upload it to YouTube?
If you are worried about the privacy, you can put privacy settings or, you can cancel it after a week or so

       DraftCad :

I thought about YouTube.   But I didn't know about the privacy settings.  In other words,  I could, in Privacy Settings,  allow only selected people to view this video ?

Hi Garystan,

YouTube is a good option but you can post WMV and AVI direct on the forum. The only problem is that the file must be no more than 4MB.

     Allan / DraftCad :

Thanks guys.    I took a look at the link for Google (YouTube) Support.   That simple enough.   And thanks for letting me know what size limit and format to use on video posts.
