Looks like TC forum is closed for registration. I used to be registered for TC as well as FP, but haven't been doing much "plan" work for a few years. Have emailed Imsi with a registration request, but don't know long that will take or even if it will be allowed. Blasted spammers make life difficult.
Moving to new computer and all my FP/TFP installed ok, but TC9.5a won't load. Mostly used FP, but had TC9.5a around "in case". FP took care of most of my needs & gracious forum members used their TC to build the 1 or 2 simple 3d elements that I needed (exposed rafters & rafter tails as I recall). So I never took the time to learn TC, but still have the CadCourse stuff I bought for it. Since I didn't need it then and TFP has some 3D building tools, I may not "need" it now either = no incentive for buying update. But it's frustrating that I have TC9.5a working on my old Win7 Home 64 box but can't get it going on my new Win7 Pro sp1 64 box. It accepts the Activation then just sits there at the Tips screen with Loading 0%. Task Manager shows Tcw90.exe, but cpu usage=0%. Don't remember doing anything special or patching when I loaded it, but that was 3 years ago.
Think I'd have the best shot at finding help for this on the TC forum, but anywhere else to try?
The only other place I can think of that may be able to help is CadCourse. They work a lot with TurboCAD.
Was there something specific you wanted designed? I use TFP to design all the 'extras' that I need.

I suspect that CadCourse is pretty much frozen since Robert has taken another job.
No, don't have anything specific; I bought TC originally to augment FP. You (or Jack) had told me last year (no, actually probably before that) that TFP could build some 3D stuff, so I really expect that TFP is all I'd really need - if the terrain tool(s) are changed. But my TC9.5A works with Win7 on old machine, so didn't expect it not to work on new. Just trying to xfer everything old to new.
Have you tried running TC in Compatibility mode? This is supposed to make the computer think that it has an earlier operating system and allow it to work.
See this post for creating custom objects within TFP: http://forums.turbofloorplan.com/index.php/topic,1130.0.html (http://forums.turbofloorplan.com/index.php/topic,1130.0.html). Try installing TCAD in SAFE MODE.
I suspect your antivirus or some other program is blocking the install. I am running a variety of TCAD versions on my computer but v9 is a long way from current version 20). I had Windows 7 pro 64 bit, now running on Windows 8.
If no luck, contact IMSI again. I will see what I can do to get you to log in to the TCAD forums. I would need your email so IMSI can contact you. You can send it to my charter account listed below.
