My question is, how accurate is the project estimator and change you change the default
price list?
I have not used this functionality professionally but I have tested it by adding things one at a time and checked the materials list each time and it appears to add things in correctly, so as far as I can see it is accurate. It is the same system used in Envisioneer by professional builders and architects so it should be fine.
Prices can be added or adjusted on the Properties screen of each object.

Okay sounds good but, I've noticed in the project estimate 1/2" Standard Sheetrock Drywall @ $0.34 and paint @ $25.00,
I don't see where to change these amounts.
Sorry but I have not got into this side of things. It get quite complex, involving formulas to work some of these things out. It can be done by editing the Materials Libraries as in the image but it is beyond my brain when it gets into formulas.
The prices of different parts of an object could be just factored together to work around this and become a 'general' price for the object.
Let me know if you can work it out using the Libraries and Assemblies (and explain it simply!! ;D )

I'd like to take a look at it. I'm not sure just how you got to this screen? I'm
using TFP version 14.0C2.662
I am not sure whether V14 has this capability but you can have a look.
File / Catalogues / Catalogue Manager, then follow the steps in the image.
Have fun! ;)
