Hi
I am new to TFP and am trying to add a bay window. It is a brick based bay with a 3 sided 90 degree bay. If I try and make a new element bay using a previous bay example, the bays are not full height and i do not seem able to put it on top of a an existing wall. I have also tried making it out of three separate windows but I end up with brick pillars on the corners.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Nice to have new people on the Forum.
You are correct in stating that adding 3 windows gives a 'brick corner pillar'. Size of a bay is controlled in its Property setting, that is how to get a 'full height' you require. In addition you will most likely have to select > right click > choose Elevate to raise it if you want it higher than the default Building Locations head height setting.
Once you have the window sized / elevated and in place, you can just draw a new wall beneath it , if that is what is required.
To add the new wall, go to Building Location settings (little house icon on bottom left of drawing area), add a new location that matches the floor the window is on. Switch to that location, draw the walls matching the window shape, then select each wall and in the Wall Properties (2nd tab) adjust the height of the wall to come up to the bottom of the window.

I could not find the Wall Properties 2nd tab to adjust the height? Do you mean right click and properties as I cannot find the height?

Sorry but I was just running out the door when I wrote the last posting.
Yes, you select the Wall (or hold down Shift key and select all three), then right click > Properties.
You should get a pop up window for Walls.
Click on the second tab in Properties > Top Bottom and switch to Level radio button.
Now you can enter a height for the walls.

That is fantastic but I had one last problem!
When I look at the 3D view it sees it as the internal face of the wall ie plain painted wall
However I found the "force right side to be exterior setting"
