Hi everybody :
Question : On the back of the disk container, it mentions a display requirement of 1024x768 / High Color (16 bit) / Super VGA. Plus the settings on my display can be set to 32 bit. Does this mean the resolution has to be a 1024x768, or does it mean "at least" that level of resolution. I ask about this part of the requirements because my monitor can be set at 1600x900. Plus on my present video card, it does have the capability of being connected (to my monitor) using DVI as well as VGA. Being I switched to Windows 7 Professional / 32-bit, I'm beefing up my System to more readily accept TFP V 16.

Those would be "minimum" requirements to run the program. I have V16 on a system with a couple of old twin 1920×1200 monitors (Dell 2408WFP) going through an equally ancient Nvidia Quadro FX 4800 video card. It works okay.
John R. :
How much memory is on your Video Card ? Apparently, mine.......NVidia GeForce 210 came with 2 Gb, but with the "shared" memory, I've got 512 Mb left.

Mine is a 1.5GB card. I looked up the spec's for your GeForce 210 card (http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-210/specifications) and the "Standard Memory" is 512MB.

John R. :
Thanks for the info. Nice card you've got. I was looking at some of the "newer" 2 Gb cards, and with most of them, I'd have to upgrade my Power Supply. At least to a 400 Watt. Apparently, when I bought my card, I asked the salesman for a (if I remember correctly ) 1 Gb card. Anyway.....................

I found this card in my closet. I forgot I had this, and hadn't opened it. This was a replacement part.
