I am trying to use Photo Board Wizard to import my company logo to my basic floor plan. When I import the black and white jpg placing it stationary it transfer as just a line. I will not be converting this plan to 3D so I am concern if the program is going to meet my needs. Also I have tried transfer the drawing to Paint Shop, so can place the logo in the drawing but then the rendering loses it clarity. Please help my job is on the line because of this. :'( :-[ :(
Photoboards are used to insert a 2D photo into a 3D model, so that it appears as part of the 3D scene. On the plan it will only appear as a line, as you are looking at the top edge of the photo.
I gather you are just wanting to add the logo as an embellishment to the plan, as in the image attached. If so, you would have to convert the logo to a DXF format (there are some software programs that will do that), or import the JPG as a "Trace Image" as I have done (File/Import/Trace Image). This functionality is normally used to allow you to trace a plan from a JPG or BMP image, but can also be used to add an image to a plan. You get the option to scale the image during the import process.
