Hi, I used FP before (like....10 years ago) and have just bought TFP ver 16.0.C1.901.
FP was really good for terrains, with the Z-axis mesh but that is missing now.
Anyway, I am trying to model a hilly site using the plateau procedure discussed in other threads, tracing contours from an imported JPG topo plan.
The help menu says I should be able to 'hide' the JPG so it can be switched on again later.
But in View/ View Filters/Notation I cannot see it, only a 'drafting' item. Filters work okay on other items like walls.
Am I missing something?
The Drafting item is your image, so you should be able to just click the 'eye' icon and it will be hidden.
Does that not work?

While the new terrain tools work OK, they can be tedious for very local terrains with detailed contours.
You can construct a terrain in the old TFP version using the individually controlled height node points, export, import into TFP16, and it works....but any revision and you have to go back. You can make it cut-out around a basement.
There is an old post of mine showing what/how/pictures for doing so....need a search to find it.
