Title: Drawing walls at an angle
Post by: raykos on January 05, 2008, 03:59:16 PM
Hello all,

How do I draw a wall at an angle other than 90 degrees? What I'm trying to draw is the addition I added to the back of my house(please see .jpg in my post "roof/wall help")?

TIA,

Ray

Ray,

Go to Settings/Program Settings and check the Ortho/Angle Snap settings.  Angle is usually best set to 15 degrees.  You will find and Angle Smap toggle button on the status bar to turn if on an off easily.

It probably would be a good idea to go through all these program settings if you are just starting out so you can set them to how you want to work - even if you leave the defaults as they are, at least you will know what is changeable.
