Have you tried "rendering" in version 17 yet ? Not to sound narcistic, but take a look at some of my renders in Version 16. Most of them should be in the Gallery.

As you probably know, TFP V16 is based on a Cadsoft platform and TFP V17 is based on a Punch platform (I use this platform since 2002). So, as they are different programs, I don't think that we should compare the software or the user's works
I am here just trying to help TFP V17 users ;)

Just for the heck of it, I downloaded the Trial Version of TFP 17. I was VERY disappointed. The biggest disappointment was the rendering engine. The final result wasn't even near being photorealistic. Among other thngs.

I think that each person is entitled to his / her opinion. As I stated, I am not going to debate or compare the programs nor I am not going to suggest to other users what to do.
I don't work for Punch or IMSI. I am just an Architect and an experienced Punch user.

I owe you an apology. I didn't mean to "step on your toes". Sorry. I was just disappointed with TFP Version 17. For now, I plan on continuing with Version 16. Looking forward to seeing your renderings.

yes, I noticed your reaction regarding the software, but keep in mind that all the programs have a learning curve. And all of them need practice, reading, and lots of time. This is why Jack created his videos for TFP and I wrote my e-books. If at some point you decide to try the program again, one of my e-books is free. They also can be used with TFP V17 (see address below)
I think that not all the users like the same programs. I respect this and I am not here to compare or trying to sell anything. I am just trying to help the TFP V17 users
To show this point (and IMSI can confirm this) I didn't insert any link or mentioned my website and e-books until I got the OK from IMSI

You're right about the learning curve. I must've gone around the block at least a couple of times when I first used TFP (Version 15). Not that I'm a pro.......
