Title: Trouble creating steps on a slope
Post by: bkittle on June 07, 2014, 09:38:12 AM
I've sloped the front yard with the slope tool. It slopes 12" in 24'. I've created a path 12' down the slope which follows the slope of the yard and driveway next to it. Now I want to create steps from the path down to the street. So it seems that there should be 6" of slope from the end of the path to the street. So I should be able to get 2 steps, 3" high, from the end of the path to the street with the top step flush with the path and the bottom step flush with the street. I've tried to use the patio tool to create the steps but can't get them to be flush where I need them to be.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there,

You can use the floor tool or even the stair tool. Just set the elevation and height of each step

If this doesn't help, please, post images of the problem

Thanks. I used the floor tool and that seemed to work.
