I just bought/installed IA 2015, and am having a major problem right at the beginning. I need to create 3 floors with a basement. But every time I select 3 as the number of floors and then check the basement box, the number of floors switches itself to 2. The built-in user guide says the program can create up to 20 floors "depending on the version", but this user guide appears to pertain to TurboFloorPlan in general, with no references to what IA specifically can do. If IA can't create a house with a basement and 3 floors above, I just wasted my money (and a lot of time solving an installation problem). If there's a way to create a house with basement plus 3 floors, I would appreciate it if somebody could enlighten me, as I can't find it in the user guide (much of the text of which is blacked out, I'm guessing because those parts don't apply to IA).
Hi there,
IA has only 3 floors (Basement and + 2 levels)
The guide is for all the versions

Very disappointing. I hope uninstalling this program will be easier than installing/launching it was. It would be nice if there if there was some advance warning about such huge limitations, that will affect many casual users looking for software to plan a renovation or new home. It's not like a basement plus 3 floors, or plus 2 main floors and a finished/useable attic, is an unusual configuration for a single family home. It's got way more features than I have any need for, but I can't get past step one because of such a basic feature not being available.
Hi there,
As you know, this forum is user to user, so I'd suggest that you check this issue the the sales dept.
