Hey, Everyone! Long time since I've popped on! Lots going on in my neck of the woods, and I've recently moved from Ohio to Georgia to be with my Significant Other of 2 yrs.
I haven't messed with my TFP Pro for a long time. My laptop died on me the other day, but all my TFP stuff is on that hard drive, which I took out. Now, when the HD was in my laptop, it was the C drive. My SO hooked up the HD to one of his computers, and now it's the F drive. I reinstalled my TFP on his C drive, on his computer, as I still had the setup file. The installation went well, no problems. Now, when I open the TFP program, I can only open it as administrator. The program will open alright, but whenever I try to open a sample or a project, it keeps giving me a "TFP stopped working and needs to close" error and I can't go any further with it.
I don't know what's going on, or how to fix it. Any help is appreciated, as always!
Btw, my SO's computer is running Windows 7, service pack 2.
I have TFP Pro 15 Home & Landscape.

I am not a computer wizard so may not be any help, but my experience from versions 3 - 16 has been that an installation will be a success if you do the following:
Restart the computer
Turn off any programs that start automatically and do not start any other program.
Turn off virus scanner
Turn off firewall
Locate the TFP exe file on your computer
Right click the exe file and choose "Run as Administrator"
Accept all suggested file locations - do not change them.
Turn virus scanner and firewall back on.
Did you do this? Specifically did you choose "Run as administrator" for the installation? There is a high possibility of issues if that was not done, so on this case I would suggest you uninstall it and do it again as above.

My SO and I finally got my TFP installed on his computer.....thanks for the help!! :-)
My next question: I've lost all my textures that I had loaded into TFP, the ones I had gotten off the internet and had folders for..... for example: fabrics, wood, stone/brick/marble, outdoor, etc. The main texture folder (with my subfolders), is located in F:\Users\Judy\My Pictures\ TFP textures.
In order to re-add my saved internet textures, I have to go into that directory again and again, to get one texture at a time to add it to my catalog and projects. Is there a way I can just take all my subfolders, or the main folder and move my textures over without having to do one at a time? It's going to take forever, re-adding my internet textures to my TFP.
I'm not referring to the default textures that came with the program, these are the textures I downloaded off the internet and put into subfolders, which are in the main imported texture folder.

I am pleased to hear you got it all working again!
Did you keep a backup of your original catalogue? If you did you can copy that back to the new Catalogues folder and
connect to it, but unless the textures are at exactly the same address then it will still not work.
I only ever save my own textures in the original default Textures folder. If you do not do this the any moves or file name changes etc will break the connection.
In your situation I would copy all the textures from your sub folders to the default folder. I always name each texture as Fabric..... or Carpet..... etc so I can easily pick mine out from the default textures.

My Textures folder and Catalogue are now about 15 years old - I just transfer them from one version to the next!
