Title: Cut Opening in Second Floor for Stairway
Post by: The Old Coyote on February 04, 2015, 03:25:55 PM
I am learning to use V16 and after some practice on single floor houses am now trying a two story house.  I added a fold back stairway to my ground floor and after tinkering with the overall height in properties now want to cut through the ceiling and second floor to access the stairway.  I have been stabbing around at this for 3 hours and am stumped.  Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Ed

Hi Ed,

All you have to do is select the floor (or  ceiling or both) right click and select Cut Opening. Draw the shape of the opening and it is done. You can drag the edges later is necessary to resize it or select an edge and even curve it.
