Terrain - at one time I had it all good with the proper slope and everything but as I worked on my model and I kept taking the locks on and off and next thing you know I have inadvertently screwed it up. Now even though I am trying to just start over with the terrain I am having no luck. I have two problems: In plan view my model sits in the middle of my nice large terrain plane but in 3D view it is on the very edge of the terrain. ( Watch that first step out of the house!! ) My second problem is with the slope itself. Using the slope tool and setting a negative 4.3' from the front edge of the garage SW Corner of the garage over a distance of 75 feet going east, it shows in 3D as being radically shifted in position and length of the drop. If I go back to the 2D view I can select that slope arrow and slide it to start at the SW corner of the garage but it never comes out to being where and what I want. In 3D it is always a much longer slope and I cant get the slope to start where I want it to be no matter how I slide the arrow around.
