I am new to Turbofloorplan 16. I am having an odd issue when trying add an interior wall that starts at an exterior wall corner. When I try to add an interior wall to that exterior corner the new wall segment is not perpendicular to the wall I am trying to attach it to. The shorter the wall is the more off axis it is. The commander bar at the bottom lists the correct angle but it is clearly off when I finish the wall. If I start the wall segment in the center of an exterior wall, it works as expected. I have the drawing aids set to ORTHO.
They way I have gotten around it is to offset the wall from the corner (which allows it to be perpendicular) then reduce the offset to zero.

What is happening sounds rather odd and without seeing the actual model I can't offer an explanation. It is good however that the issue is obvious as it could otherwise become a wall corruption that may cause problems later.
Your solution is a way around it but the safest way do join an interior wall to an exterior corner, is simply to select the exterior wall and just drag the end of it into your room. Because it is inside the outer perimeter, the wall will automatically assume interior wall characteristics. This is far better than trying to join a wall at a corner, as it is very difficult to join it exactly. Stretching the wall does it perfectly and avoids possible corruptions.

Thank you for the welcome and the answer. I wouldn't have thought of your solution. I am more used to regular Turbocad where I can just add additional wall segments and align with a snap point.

Hi Dennis,
TFP also has snap points or Object Snap as it is called. It must be turned on in the status bar. Simply stretching the wall out is still the best way to join to a corner though as there are a number of possible snap points in the wall (e.g. exterior surface, interior surface, inside cavity edges or inside frame members), so unless you zoom in really close you cannot be sure which you have attached to. If the internal wall is a different construction to the external, just select the stretched portion, right click and choose Replace. You can then just select the different wall configuration from the list and it will change the seleted wall's configuration accordingly.
Although the plan view looks similar to TurboCAD, it works quite differently, as it is actually building in 3D at the same time as you draw the plan. Object Snap can work vertically also.
