My 2 x 4 wall catalog item does not have extra fields to add the sheetrock element.

It is not possible to change the 2D appearance of the walls in TFP, only the total thickness of the wall can changed and of course you can display the internal framing if you want.
Typical construction drawings (at least in Australia) do not show the surface material on framed walls and TFP does not do so. However it will display it if the wall itself is programmed to display it. What this means is that I can create a wall type for you that will show the wall surface material (sheetrock as you call it) if you want and if you replace your existing walls (right click Replace option) TFP should show this in plan view, although you would only see it if viewed very close. At a normal viewing distance the two lines would probably appear to be just one thickish line.
If you would like to do this please let me know the thicknesses involved: eg. Exterior surface material, frame thickness, interior surface thickness and the total thickness (sum of the 3 obviously).

Thanks Allan. I have an element in Envisioneer that is a 2 x 4 wall with 1/2" cement board. The wall is std double line and he exterior board is spaced out 1/2" and a single lighter line. That is what I'm after. Per the other post I was looking for a way to import that element but the cross platform from V9 to TFP 16 does not work.
Follow up. How difficult is it to create an entirely new wall that will act the same as the current walls when you drag the, etc.?
I don't suppose I can draw the element in AutoCad and import the object and use it can I?

No you cannot do it in AutoCAD. Walls in TFP are a 3D object, the 2D being added to make the plan visible. You can actually have a 3D object with no 2D linework at all, or completely different linework.
Give me the exact specifications you want for the wall (preferably in metric, but dont stress if that is a problem) and I will see if I can make it work in V16.
I guess this answers my question in your other post about transferring files!

I would like a 2 x 4 wall w/ 1/2 cement board. Metric - what is that! We are not near smart enough to learn all this again .. LOL.
It is 3 1/2" wide, 3/4" thick. The cement board is 1/2" thick and attached to the outside face. The cement board line need to be a thin drk blue line and the regular line for th 2 x 4
The other wall I need is a foundation wall.
It is 16" wide, 8" deep and a dashed line. On top of it in the center is another pair of lines that represent blocks which are 8" wide by 8". Those should be a thinner solid black line.

Sorry but your specifications for the wall has confused me. Don't blame your description - it is more likely me! At my age it does not take much to confuse me! ::)
You are calling it a 4x2 wall so I am assuming 4x2 is the size of the timber frame and it has ½ inch of Cement board attached to the exterior face, making the wall 4½ inches thick. What goes in the inside faces and how thick is this material?
Your second paragraph says: "It is 3 1/2" wide, 3/4" thick". What does that refer to?
For the Foundation Wall I don't understand the following: "On top of it in the center is another pair of lines that represent blocks which are 8" wide by 8".
I started to create the walls but found I couldn't continue, without more details/explanation.

A standard wall stud is a common 2" x 4" ... not sure on metric. It is actually 3 1/2" wide and 1 1/2" thick in real life... various length
In TFP .... just a simple interior wall with a thin blue line on the exterior side that is 1/2" offset from the wall line. That is all.
Foundation walls: Footer:
It is 16" wide, 8" deep and a dashed line and sits under the exterior wall. That is already in TFP. I want to add a double solid line on top of the footer that is spaced so it is 8" wide and 8" high with varying length. That 8 x 8 xis a concrete block

Not sure about the age: I am 70 next year - the photo is about 5 years old so I suppose I should update it!
Anyway I have attached a BIM of a 4x2 stud wall that I hope is what you want and that your TFP will accept it. Mine does. Let me know how it goes and, if it works, whether you need me to change anything. It was created in metric - I have apparently deleted the Imperial catalogues. Australia switched to metric about 45 years ago, so I think in metric these days although still understand Imperial. Imperial is so hard by comparison that I dropped it almost immediately. TFP I think is created in metric and converts to Imperial within the program for USA users. You should find that when you open it in you Imperial TFP, it will convert it for you and appear in inches. My TFP V16 imports it OK and shows in inches when I switch the Unit Of Measure in settings. Hopefully the BIM will also give you the black wall line I created but I was not able to set the framing to black, so will all show blue when framing is turned on.
I am still a little confused with the Foundation wall. Can you draw what you expect to see? It sounds to me like you qant two lines 16 inches apart and another two close together in the middle. Is that to represent the join of 8 inch blocks in the middle of the wall? If that is what you want it can be done but only by making the Core 8" with a cavity 1/16" and then the exterior surface 8". You cannot just add lines randomly. The only lines created are those that represent programmed 3D elements. There is not a way to make cross lines on the wall in the plan, although you could do it with the Framing maybe by creating a thin metal plate as the frame element and space them 8" apart. Framing would have to be turned on for this to work. Whether they can be spaced 8" apart or not I don't know. I will wait to see your drawing of what you want first to make sure I am understanding correctly before I try it.

The foundation wall will probably be the same issue. If you had a footer which is 16" wide and 8" deep/in ground. It sits in the ground to transfer load from outside walls down.
Now place a standard cinder block which is 8" wide, 8" tall and 16" long and set it on top of that footer in the center. You now have a footer with a block on top of it ... that is what I was after. I can do it manually however. The footers automatically attach to the exterior walls so I just thought I could show the block at the same time.
BUT, it needs to be a 3 dimension element so it will show in the elevation like a slab would.
I only have this one project to do so it isn't a real issue to do it manually ... thanks for trying however.

I don't understand why the exterior line is not showing - unless you have not joined the 4 walls. My images were from TFP V16 so I know it works. Yours should show the same way as the two images. The Exterior surface does not show however unless you complete an enclosed space, as is always the case of course for the exterior surface. If it is not an enclosed space the tick the 'Force Exterior' box in Wall Properties You need to zoom in close too, as the exterior surface line is only ½" away.
For the foundation then you are talking about a section view that is essentially an inverted T shape, is that correct? A 16" wide 8"deep base and an 8"x8" block sitting in the middle on top? There is not a standard profile like that for foundations and no provision for customer shaped ones. You could make that shaped profile using Members but they would not have the characteristics of foundations so defeats the purpose to some extent.
