Title: Design not showing in 3D
Post by: ChecMark on November 19, 2016, 10:59:11 AM
Man, I don't get why nothing works as expected! I carefully placed the range hood above the stove even though it gave me no guidelines on the wall to show me where it should be placed. I brought up the 3D window and, surprise! No range hood! I moved it over and over trying to get it to show up, but gave up. Just too time consuming to wrestle with every component.

It might be the "Object Elevation" of the item.  In drawing mode click on the hood and then look at its elevation.  I'd expect the elevation would be around 6' - 7'.  Otherwise it's "buried" in the stove.

Hi there,

the elevation of the cabinets created with the Cabinet tool automatic.
The elevation of the 3D objects (chairs, tables, etc) is the floor elevation, therefore to change it => select the object and change the elevation using the elevation bar (outlined in red in the image attached)
