Title: Problem building a wall to cover a truss
Post by: gailwhite on January 27, 2017, 12:21:44 PM
Hi,
I am building a model of our current house. On one portion of the wall above a roof line, I need to cover the exposed truss with siding. My thought was to build a wall at the elevation of the ceiling, and have it meet the roof line. I have built the wall, but even with the height of the wall set to 1", it extends several inches above the roof line. If I reduce the elevation of the wall anymore that 9'-9", the wall extends down through the ceiling in the room below. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Or is there a better way to draw this?

I am using Turbo Floor Plan Home & Landscape Pro 2017.

Thank you!
Gail

Hi Gail,

As you are covering the side of a gable roof, you should use a gable wall (second shape of the wall menu)
