Title: How to cover corner with accessory?
Post by: JeffA on September 29, 2017, 05:35:59 PM
Hi - I've added a quoin accessory to put on the corner of a building.  I've created a quoin for the front and a quoin for the side.  Because the front wall intersects at the side wall, the front quoin won't go past the edge of the front wall which leaves the width of the side wall exposed to the front.  How can I adjust for this?  I've attached quoinfront.jpg to show what I mean.  TIA!

Hi there,

IMO, the best option for developing quoins, is using 3D elements.
You have 2 options:
1 - In my quoins tutorial, https://www.facebook.com/notes/punchhelpers/pats-tip-8/1080106598728246/ you will find 3 POB objects that you can import and customize.
2 - Develop a flat element using the 3D Workshop => texture using the quoin texture (don't forget that you imported the picture as material, so you can use it as material too) => save in your library => place in your design
Hope this helps  :)
