Title: Roofline
Post by: hjloomis on March 16, 2018, 05:28:33 PM
Is there a way to get the automatic roof to follow the height/style of perimeter walls? For instance; I have a gable exterior wall and the auto room is going a flat 9' across it and not following the pitch.

I'm using turbofloorplan pro 2017

I am not sure what do you mean by auto room?

BTW, we didn't receive your answer re: the chimney

Hi there,

If you have flat walls, the program will create a hip roof. If you have gable walls, the program will create gable roofs.

I figured that is what it is suppose to do, but this is what it is doing for me. Any way to fix this without having to construct the roof by hand?

Hi there,

In this case, the auto roof won't create a gable roof with just one gable wall.
However, as the auto roof pieces are free hand roofs, you can easily edit them => add a point in the middle of the roof (where the gable is) => move it up (it will look like this ^ => then insert a pre-made gable roof.
