Am I right in thinking the keyboard isn't mapped very much. I was hoping to map keys to basic functions like tools and zooming in and out and such. Is this possible?
Thanks very much.
Hi there,
Not sure what do you mean. There are lots of shortcuts using either the keyboard or the mouse.
You will see the shortcuts at the right of the menu items (they appear clearly in the image that you posted). More info: page 8 of the user guide.
TFP, as any program, has a learning curve. The best way to learn the program, IMO, is practice + practice + practice => Read and follow the manual (this is important), see the videos => try to create elements not related with your project, so you will become familiar with the commands and how to develop the different components.

Thank you. I was hoping for something like A for arrow, Z for zoom. H for hand. Surprised standard functions like Option-click with zoom tool doesn't zoom out. Shortcuts for zoom in like minus and equals. I'll have to burrow in as my time is running out. Really like what the application can do, just frustrated by it. Thanks for the link.
Hi there,
You're welcome!
Thank you for your feedback.
Zoom: the faster approach is using the mouse wheel (see page 90 of the user Guide)
Oh dear. Doesn't work with the Magic Mouse, whose surface can be used to move the plan on the screen, which is handy, especially when zoomed in, but no zoom function.
Hi there,
I am not familiar with Magic Mouse (I use a wheel mouse), but I know that Magic Mouse users use these features

Hope this helps
Thanks. Trackpad would be useful.
