Title: Differences in 3D Image export

See attached images.
The png 3D image export appears to be adding some sort of filter to the the final render export.
the bmp 3D image export is correct being how it renders in FloorPlan.

This is not related with the program itself but with the different formats and their properties, especially with transparency and compression.
PNG is better because it has transparency built-in, and better definition, therefore the light effects are well defined. BMP is just an uncompressed bitmap.
You can see the difference also in the files' sizes.

There are many online articles about this issue.

I'm not so sure about that.

IMHO  :) and a guess,  I'd say there is either a missing component in Floorplan image export filters or something isn't working correctly, I've never seen this type of behavior before. I mean, the exported Photo quality rendered image should match the original rendered Image in FloorPlan.
What am I supposed to do when making adjustments to materials, lighting etc? just guess on how the exported image will look  :)

Nope, the rendering formats are different because we are talking about Photorealistic rendering.

Define the settings => use "Preview"

Also, check the different Windows and video card settings re: the different formats. It happened to me with one of my VCs.

I tested the other Render engine "3d rendering" excellent quality export 3D images in bmp and png format and there were No differences in the exported  images.
So, the issue is with using the Photo Realistic LightWorks export 3D image. That being said don't you think there is so sort of program error?
I also tested tiff and jpg formats using the Photo realistic export 3D images and they were both identical to the bmp format, the issue is only with png.
I will check my Nvidia settings and get back to you.

No, because the processes are different. This is why I mentioned the photorealistic rendering. Keep in mind that Lightwork is a different rendering engine.

In the past, I used only AMD video cards and they worked great. My current computer came with a Nvidia VC (could not change it) and I realized that Win 10 settings interfere a lot with Nvidia VCs, especially on laptops. My suggestion => check and try every single setting in your VC as well as computer. Also, try to open the rendered image with different programs and browser and see if you find differences.

Hi Patricia,
Ok, Windows 10 Photos appears to be the culprit. These others as well, Internet explorer and Adobe acrobat.
The png opened in Paint, Paint 3d ,Snip&Sketch and photoshop elements all display the png correctly  ???

Happened to me the day I bought this computer. This is why I told you to open the images with different programs or browsers.

Hi Patricia,
Unlike the export 3D image png result If I use windows snipping tool and save the Final Photo-realistic render as a screen capture in png format the image is correct being that it matches the final render in TFP.

This is not my experience, but this depends a lot of the VCs settings.
