Hi there,
This is my first attempt at joining a uses forum and looking forward to learning from other experienced uses of Floorplan 2020.
However, this is not my first version of Floorplan, as bought V15 pro when it was released, and used it to design pump station buildings for water harvesting and recycling as CAD programs we costly then. I retired in 2011 and we moved house, and the serial numbers misplaced.
Last year my daughter decided to renovate her old timber house and I purchased a Floorplan 3D v17, Deluxe boxed version on eBay.
I did not realise that the learning curve and the reduced features of this version, and a very complex old house with many levels and sloping roofs and walls would be. Enter V17 2020 version! This is amassing and with many great features, the issues are now finding where they all are all located. This program is a case of: you get more than what you paid for.
As I find it difficult to remember the instructions on the screen from the User Guide and needed a printed version. I decided I would print out the whole manual, the 664 pages of it, double sided, and divided them into 3 volumes and bound them. I was very happy with the result.
However, the next day I was looking the Table of Contents, found the item I was looking for, and open the User Guide to find there were no page numbers in the printed out copy. Not Happy! Has anyone else had this problem? Is it possible to print the User Guide with page numbers?
Graz GD.
Hi there,
The user guide is a PDF file, so you can open the file with a PDF program and set header and footer, including the pages' numbers. There are several free programs in the web and the procedure is different for each PDF program.
Hope this helps.
