Title: Deleting specific dimensions & text
Post by: jpmac on May 16, 2021, 06:22:29 PM
Turbofloorplan 3D Home & Landscape Pro 2019 on Mac running OSX 11.3.1
How do I delete/change specific words & dimensions on the drawing.  I have a simple drawing (garage) generated by Quickstart to which I have now added additional rooms and doors.  I would like to delete from the drawing the word Garage and the associated dimensions which is included with that text. As well, I want to delete specific dimensions from the drawing because the drawing is now too crowded.  However, I still want to retain some of the dimensions.

In summary I would like to have control over which dimensions stay on the drawing and which dimensions I can delete rather than the "all or nothing" option which is available now.  As well, I would like to be able to delete or change names which Quickstart has added to the drawing.

I would appreciate any help you can provide.

Thanks

Hi there,

Labels: You can activate / deactivate / edit the labels showing the dimensions, area and name of the rooms. Click inside the room => Properties bar (right of the screen) => set the desired options.

Dimensions: there are several settings to adjust => set all the different options for manual and automatic dimensions => Dimension and Font Default Settings  => User Guide => Drawing in 2D.

Hope this helps.
