When I have the 3D window open in walk-through mode, there is a LONG delay (5+ seconds) from when I left click the mouse button to any actual movement in the 3D window/view. Changing navigation and render quality settings makes absolutely no difference. Changing navigation speed and camera angle makes no difference at all. These settings seem to be completely ignored so not really sure why they exist?
Because the delay between mouse click and navigation motion is so long it makes it very annoying to walk-thru the house. Once movement starts and I keep my left mouse button down it's fine, just the initial mouse click delay.
It doesn't seem to matter if the room is full of furnishings or empty ... the delay is the same.

Your post includes several concepts related with visualization and other concepts related with rendering: these are different processes, therefore, for example, the render quality is not related with the visualization speed.
I'd suggest that you check, learn and analyze the hardware and software settings for both processes (as recommended in the User Guide).
Otherwise, please, check this issue with tech. support.
Sorry, don't understand why you mean by "Visualization Speed"? Options provided indicate "Navigation Speed" that can be adjusted. Are you referring to FPS? If so, that isn't my issue.
The issue is that I get a long delay when I click in 3D view before my mouse motion is noticed in the view. I can move my mouse around for 5 seconds while the 3D View is active and nothing happens. After 5 seconds the 3D view will eventually recognize my mouse movement and respond accordingly.
I'll contact support. thanks.
