In the image attached you will see that there are what appears to be 2x6's in the floor. This house should have a concrete slab and so will the addition I am adding.
I want my Project Estimates to be as close to true as possible and with he extra wood, and/or minus the concrete, It wont be.
Can anyone help me?
You must insert a slab floor, the default one is timber. Delete the floor and insert again but select a slab floor first.

Im unsure how to do this properly without starting all over.
I deleted my floors (hardwoods and tile) and in the view filter I still see Floor Framing and Floor Surfaces.
I am not sure how to add a slab and it be correct.
I attached a second image that shows there is a gap under the house thats about 8 inches where the wood sub flooring used to be.
Ok I clicked on FOUNDATION and it became clear I could pick points and draw a slab.
The house I am redesigning, was built in the 80's and I believe its on a 6" slab.
When I created the slab it put my slab -8' under the house as you will see in the building locations image attached.
I am unsure what what my settings should be and need a little guidance.
When you click the floor icon you choose how you want to draw the floor and then the floor elements pallete appears. The last group is Slab floors. These are solid concrete floors. If you insert one of there floors there will be no framing even though the filter still has the option. That is always there.
Your locations need to be set with the floor level at whatever the floor is above the ground. If you have a 6 inch floor sitting on the ground them the floor level should be 6 inches. If you have other floors, add up the ground floor thickness, wall height and second floor thickness to get the floor level for the second floor.
