How about a section to show off some of the end results that have been accomplished with this software?
Since we users have no ability to manage this forum, you may just have to look/search for perhaps ".jpg" or "render" as many images posted here.
How about this one? (I may have posted it a while back)
Also search for "Allan" as he has posted plenty of images and screen/render/tip pictures.
I did suggest this soon after the program was first launched and even that there should be an occasional 'competition' such as TurboCAD and some other similar software forums have and was told that they had it in mind. I suspect they are bogged down with getting an update ready to fix some of the issues we have reported ,so it is far from their mind at present. Maybe they want to get the rendering issues fixed before encouraging it or it may result in lots of queries and potential frustration for the users.
Maybe I will take the bull by the horns as they say and just start 3 threads in this section called GALLERY - One each for Radiosity, Basic Render and 3D Screen images. At least this will group some reference images together.

Doug that looks awesome. I cant yet seem to add lights and get such a picture perfect look yet. When I render with lights, on say level 3 with 40 watt bulbs, it blown way out, way too bright.

The first pic is with 6 40 watt bulbs over the sink.
The second pic is with the same over the sink bulbs on, plus 2 canister lights in the ceiling, all 40 watts.
Oh also I want TFP to start up with no bld file whatso ever, I have unchecked it telling it to do so (no new project) and yet it still wants too. Any idea on that?
Yes, lighting is often a big challenge and the lighting wattage for my renders seems to be way out of "calibration" so I often use 1 watt set at 1% to keep the brightness down....and usually turn off the lights in fixtures and put in one light with no fixture visible to control shadows etc. Blown out over exposure is common...also depends on if sun is "on" or "off".
Renders are not always repeatable and sometimes a small change seems to not do anything and a little more will make a big difference.
I always change only one thing at a time to learn the effects....but inconsistency in the program hinders learning...there are many bugs in the rendering solution...mostly in the advanced rendering....but when it works, excellent results are possible...you just can't give up and must persevere...even for long renders. Sometimes an object will cause a render problem and its hard to find the problem source....all I can say is play and try anything...even if it seems irrational...it might work.
I have always left the default template start-up empty file in place...seems to do no harm and is handy and previous versions would start badly if a default empty file was not started. Try searching this forum....I recall some discussion long ago...but it could have been FP11/10/9/8. I think its another bug...and others have had problems with settings not "sticking" between shutdown and new start-up. Many graphics programs have initialization pref. files become buggy and have a reset or delete and a new auto default start resets the file....but not known how TFP does a prefs reset.
Your renders are getting close...keep working on it...render small images until you think you have the settings correct, then render a larger image...to save time.
Your renders look like the are "basic" raytracing...try advanced renders to get radiosity...but be aware high quality large size renders can take a long time.

How do I use a 1 watt bulb as you say. I can choose edit on the bulb, but do not see a 1 watt or way to add one.
Can you give more detail on that please?
