Title: Terrain is larger in 2D than in 3D, chops off building in 3D view
Post by: frank on May 04, 2008, 12:57:33 PM
Just registered my HLP v12 today  ;D

I increased my terrain size and added a garage to my "house".  When viewing in 3D most of the garage is "chopped off".

I notice the terrain size (the default green area) is larger in 2D than in 3D, which is the root problem.  Whis is this so?

My site boundary exceeds the terrain size, and I have even remove the site boundary to no avail.

Thanks...

Frank

Hi Frank,

Welcome to the Forum.
i had the same issue yesterday. It sounds as though, like me, you may have activated the Crop tool - it crops off the 3D model so you can see inside and it crops the Terrain also. The icon is to the right of the 3D View icon.
