Title: TFP Lock up with 2 plans open
Post by: Mike D on May 14, 2008, 09:05:19 AM
This has not happened prior to updating the program to the new version.

If I have two plans open, and "CTRL-TAB" to switch from one to the other......the program locks up.

Anyone else noticing it? I have not changed anything else.

while I use this technique on many other programs, until now I had not tried it in TFP mostly because I usually only have one .bld file open at a time

so I tried it on my laptop (HA always on) just now and it worked just fine...quickly jumping back and forth between views....I only tried the 2D views

Of course that is a shortcut and useful but you can use the menu to switch views as a workaround

I tried to duplicate the problem using 2 different plans, to no avail, so i opened up the same 2 which were giving me the problem and it again would not repeat........until I was in the middle of experimenting with the 2 open plans trying to solve the "slope angle in plateau" in a different post, and it happened again.

If I can get a handle on what is making this happen, I will forward on any info.

Lastly, nothing has changed in my system or TFP program settings except updating to the newer version.

Just tried switching between plans using the mouse and menu method, and it did it again.

I've included a printscreen image.
