insert, windows, custom has a couple arched tops....after inserting, select, right click, properties and change/adjust as needed....start with basic, type

I did not find a curved top garage door.....perhaps insert a .3ds or other 3D model from the web.....or find a window that looks like what you want and re-size to a garage door size.

Often I'll find something close and then export and change the model in another 3D modeler program and then import into TFP

Often you can make what you want in TFP by combining other objects...like insert a curved top window made wide and short height and place over the garage door to cover the rectangular shape....in other words "fake it" to look correct.

would you believe the curved top window acts oddly!
it has a max width, but to get there it will only allow incrimental adjustments!
still not wide enough!
and the curve radius is not quite right
thanks

Hi Rick,

I did not have any problem with the curved top window.  I have included the dialog box so you can see the settings for comparison with yours. You have to adjust the side measurements to get the height and the radius to control the curve - latter has to be about the same as the total width.

Rick,

If you have the same settings in the dialg box that I posted then you should be able to change the sides of the window. The height is controlled by those settings plus the radius of the curve. The toal height setting is just the calculation of the straight sides plus the curve.
