Does anyone know when the next version will be released?
nope, and probably the developers have a plan/schedule but really don't know either until management decides the timing or business case is "just right" or is that "ripe"? to generate income.
One would expect a 12-18 month time frame to be competitive, so maybe this year in time for holiday sales? Just a guess.
