Just started using TurboFLOORPLAN v12 and can't seem to see how to have a counter over a dishwasher, tried installing in a cabinet and that didn't work.
here is one method, suggest you also search this forum because I remember other solutions explained by others too.
after your cabinets are in place including one for the dishwasher, set collision detection "off" (bottom right of screen window), insert a dishwasher into desired location into the cabinet....may need to have it set out a bit to see its front instead of the cabinet front. Use 'zoom-in' closely to get exacting position. Use nudge tool for minor adjustments of position. Use elevation only if needed.
A further option - you can change the cabinet to 'Counter Top' on the Basic tab. It will probably drop to the floor, but you can just right click Elevate the counter top to the same height as adjoining cabinets. The diswahser should then slide underneath even with Collision on. If the dishwasher is 'built in' completely, then you may as well just move it into a full cabinet as Doug suggested.
