can you open sliding doors
Apparently not although you can with Face or Pocket sliders. You could in previous versions but I had not realised that the functionality had gone. It could be mocked up but would be a bit messy to do.

Yes I agree prev. version had sliding glass doors that opened with % like hinged doors.
I think a possible solution is to export the complete door/frame/object set to another 3D program...where the door frame and window parts and glass can be selected and moved to desired open position...saved as .3ds...imported back to TFP...and inserted....should work.
But I agree its a lot of fussing around....suggest you add a feature request in this forum....
