surely you can reverse a floor plan & not hav eto completly re-draw it every time someone wants reverse

Hi - Welcome to the Forum.

You can Move, Duplicate, Duplicate to another floor, Rotate and Mirror the plan.  Select EVERYTHING (Edit/Select All (or Crl A)) then right click for these options. It works by clicking on one of the walls and drag it around (it will swivel on that wall), then delete the duplicated part. Obviously you will have to Mirror twice to swap left to right and top to bottm.  You may also want to use the Move option to drag it back to the centre of the terrian. 

If you have several floors and want to mirror all of them (which is logical), make sure you go to Settings/Program Settings/Drawing Aids and check that the "Select elements on current location only while in plan view" is NOT ticked. Then when you Select All it will select everything on every location and mirror/rotate all of them, otherwise it will mirror just the location you are editing. You may also want to change the setting back again when you have finished or you may find you will select things on other floors that you did not intend to.

thanks very much i can mirror the floor plan with those instructions but can not move it or rotate it at all

The functionality works the same way, Select All, select Move and just drag it all, or select Rotate, click on a wall and drag it around that point. What happens when you try to do this?

If nothing happens try turning off Hardware Acceleration (Settings / Spoicn Settings / Graphics).
