Is there an optimum "view angle" to minimize distortion when in 3D mode? Or does that depend on the size and resolution of your monitor?
I'm finding that 45 degrees works well for me...

From memory I seem to recall that 50 degrees is the angle of normal human eyesight so this would probably look normal. If you are trying to create images inside however, particularly in a bathroom for example, you may have to go wider to get a reasonable amount of it in.

I have the same answer but from a photography point of view.....50mm focal length lens (35mm film) is considered "normal" and....
