Is there a way to remove part of a slope?
It seems when you create a slope it continue the whole length of the lot.
I want it to stop as soon as it hits another slope.
Or if I create a slope in the shape of a U or L that would work as well.
The X's show where I want it to slope.
I hope the diagram helps.

Hi Jeff,
The slope will always go right across - as you said it is for that purpose of sloping the whole block. I think you will find the Plateau tool is the one you need. Remember that any secondary plateau used ADDS to the previous (stacks on top so to speak) so build it in stages if there are varying slopes.

I tried to use the Plateau tool but could not find a way to slope just three sides.
I only need a plateau that slopes on 3 sides.

Jeff.
What happens on the 4th side? If it is just the high point then just draw it off the terrain on that side. The terrain boundary will cut that slope off and leave it high on that edge.

Yes that will solve most of the problem. Thank you.
Is there a way to change the rise on one side of the slope only?

Hi Jeff,
The terrain tools all add to each other so you can build up one side by repeatedly adding very low plateaus, this can make the top slope or adding the plateau 'off the edge' of the original you can make that edge slope differently.
Bear in mind that if you have a 10' high plateau and overlap a 1' over any part of the top of the original, the part that overlaps will be 11'. If you only want to change the slope, then be sure to add the new plateaus only over the slope part of the original.
If you select the whole area you will see the outline of each of the plateaus. Unfortunately they disappear when you start to add the new one.
