Title: Unfinished interior walls
Post by: openminds on April 09, 2009, 08:32:55 PM
Usually am very good at figuring out/searching but at odds end here. I wish to leave the interior walls on 2 structures unfinished but can not find an option/finish to have the desired effect. What am I missing?

Hi,  Welcome to the forum.

What actually do you mean by 'unfinished'.   The standard automatic surface on most walls is Drywall which I assume is meant to mean what we call in Australia Gyprock (a card faced plaster or whatever filled material) that has a typical cardboard colour - you can then cahnge this to whatever colour or texture you want.  If you are using one of the Stucco walls it will give it a textured finish automatically but you can simply change it to Drywall (Finishes material group) if you want.

If by 'unfinished you meant no wall surface at all (so you can see the framing), then you need to go to the View Filter (View Menu), untick the Lock Framing(lower right), expand Walls and click the 'Eyes' to turn Framing on and Surfaces off.

Presumably one of those two options covers what you want, if not ask again.
