Hi Allan (et al)
Hi again,
Generally I think it is best to ask separate questions in separate posts so the subject line reflects the content but in your case the questions are fairly specific to the model so can be in one post. No rules really.
To delete be able to select the floor to delete it you need to do it in the 3D view or 2D rendered view. Personally I find it best to turn off the automatic floors otherwise it is too easy to want to change a floor in a particular room so you end up inserting another one (no warning) and you then end up with two textures bleeding through each other.
Exterior walls only become 'exterior' if 4 walls join to form a 'room'. The outside then switches be exterior texture. You can just select the surface (left or right interior side) and make it the same as the rest of the exterior but if you render the image later you will find it renders black, as it is an interior wall and expects artificial light. This is actually a bug but the principle of the exterior wall is intentional. To force it to be exterior you need to cannect it to existing walls (or add 3 thin ones to make a narrow room and force the issue. You cna probably use the invisible Room Divider to get the same effect.
Dormer - This is only a 'front' so is the same situation - just chage one ofthe inside textures is the simplest solution as the one above.
Yes you can plant grass on the terrain (or anything for that matter). It usually defaults to grass unless the texture used has been deleted from the catalog. Go to Setting/Program Settings/ Terrain and select another texture.
Probably the garage should have been on a separate location and you could then have simply turned it off in the view filter. You could create a new location with the same settings, select just the garage details and right click 'Duplicate to Location' and select the new Garage location. Make sure it is there and then delect the previous garage. In other words you have moved it to its own location. However you can still get an elevation of just the house by using a Section. Start the Section between the house and Garage and drag the view through the house. This will give you a view of just the house, the garage being behind the section view.
To delete previously created Elevations go to View / Viewing Aids, where you can turn the markers on. You can then click on them and Delete them.
Elevation four is not really a true elevation. It appears to be one of the Quick Views set to Hidden Line and the hatching is the Terrain seen from above. If you want that particular view then turn off the terrain in View Filter.
If you require more explanation on any of the above just ask again.
Allan
