Purchased "TURBOFloorPlan3D Home & Landscape PRO v14" On-line did an electronic download today --
post installation first execution can not find catalogs and basic files - default directories are not correct. warning error about catalog. on exit "default.mru" can't be found and crash occurs.
This version of Vista uses 'symlinks' to create the access paths the program is expecting.
The real path where things have been installed was: C:\ProgramData\IMSIDesign\TURBOFloorPlan3D Home & Landscape PRO
By using Settings->Program Settings dialog under "general" I reset the paths to the above where appropriate. It seems to work.
Not exactly what I had expected nor - what I think it should be. What is the right way to handle this?

Thanks for you post as it seems to pinpoint some of the initial issues a few others have had using TFP on Vista. I am not a technical person so these things don't mean much to me - does "default.mru" mean anything to you? Had a look in Google and there are references to 'Most Recently Used' files so whether that is connected in some way or not I don't know. The file "default.mru" does not appear on either of my PCs. I assume TFP is running OK for you at the moment but I have referred your comments to the people at IMSI Design anyway, just in case they miss it, so they can address the issue.

I have Vista Ultimate and no problems. The base product comes in many 'flavors', including TuboFLOORPLAN / Envisioneer / HGTV Home Design. I have multiple versions of all of these products installed on Vista and have not seen the problem mentioned. I do seem to remember an option on install if you want to use default or user defined location for files. I have always used the default location option.
It is also possbile that during download something was left out and caused the path problem, but I have downloaded most of the programs and again, I have no problems.
Attached are the paths listed for TFPlan. There are more details to those paths , for instance Sounds Directory has one additional folder not shown in the path named 'Sounds'.
I would write to support and see what they say.

I realise this is an old topic now but thought I would just post this here anyway, in case others who are having Vista compatibility issues search and choose this topic.
