Title: Suspended Ceiling
Post by: chet on May 21, 2009, 08:59:14 AM
Can Turbo Floor Plan create a Suspended Ceiling, the ceiling will not cover the whole room just 2m all the way around the edge leaving the centre which will then look raised.

Cheers

Hi Chet,

Welcome to the forum.

Yes it will. Select the Properties and on the Basic tab select the Type 'Tray'. This should do what you describe. You will have to set your dimensions of course.

Yes Chet,

The ceilings are similar to roofs in that you can select various 'arrows' that are associated with each 'side' of a ceiling. In this example I selected all arrows (sides) made the 'Skirt Width' 7' and the center 'raised' 1 foot. You can also 'elevate' the whole ceiling, making the 'drop' at any height you want.

Quite flexible and simple to do.
