Title: How to export 2D Turbo floor plans in graphic format
Post by: norm on June 16, 2009, 04:32:42 PM
I am using Turbo FloorPlan v12.00.cl.551 and would like to be able to export a 2 D floor plan in a jpg format.
Is this possible? If so, how is it done?

Hi Norm,

Welcome to the forum.

Several ways to do it but simplest is probably File / Export / 2D Image. Make sure you fill the screen with what you want in your image because what is on the screen is what you get.

If you have the need and software to manage it, you can Export as a 2 Drawing and maybe save as a PDF and you will get a much higher quality output.

I do not have an "export" option under files.  Is my software defective? Or is this an improvement available only in later additions?  It should be a fairly basic feature.

Thanks

Hi Norm,

You said you had V12 and my V12 has exactly the same number as yours. I just assumed you had the Pro version becasue the number is the same as mine and mine is the Pro version, which certainly has the File/Export option (as JPG, BMP or TGA).

Is yours TurboFLOORPLAN Home and Landscape Pro?
